Our Mission

We are on a mission to conduct and collate all research on women’s saddle ergonomics and related pain and discomfort and hopefully provide answers to those struggling and prevent their future problems.

A Bicycling.com poll found 50 percent of the female respondents had long-term genital swelling or disfigurement

12 respondents said their issues were serious enough to consider surgery.

Women shared that they often rode in pain, cut rides short, or had to take long breaks from the bike.

Harrison & Edey (2023) found 44% of recreational female cyclists have been deterred from cycling due to vulval/ perineal discomfort.

Most studies consistently find almost half of women cyclists have saddle issues
